Globalization and International Businesses
One of the most used words in international business areas and in business studies around the world is globalization. This world refers to different aspects and terms such as economy politics business religion and to many others, moreover it could be defined by different inclines depending of the aspects and circumstances. By one of the definitions, globalization refers to the development of global or worldwide business activities, increasing interdependence between national economies throughout the world.(Global & Transnational Business. Chapter 1 page 11).According to the capitalists, many politics economists and people involved in international or multinational business industry, in modern time the concept of globalization considers to be as a crucial framework which is contributing in well growth of world economy, free trade and security issues. It believes that the first foundation of globalization in 20 century began life in 1948 as Havana Charter when 23 countries acted as signatories and had devised ( ITO) an International Trade Organization. It appear to be that in modern business and political world these well known organizations as ITO, WTO( world trade organization) or World Bank and many others are controlling almost all international trades and finances.
Globalization has became one of the most controversial subject of debate, demonstrations and even violence, there is dramatic increase of anti-globalization web sides and organizations. What is it that arouses such anti globalization passions, why are they believe that globalization is harmful phenomenon? This essay with impartial approach will evaluate the negative and positive effects of globalization on the development of the modern world from different inclines, also will discuss globalization’s beneficial effects on international business.
